My Favorite Restaurant in NYC: Buvette

Buvette restaurant in NYC is my favorite! And since Connor and I are about to move to London, I thought it’s about darn time I take you all inside to show you!

Buvette is an intimate French bistro in New York’s West Village neighborhood. It’s open throughout the entire day and it’s a wonderful place to go for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, a late-night snack or a midday bite. So basically — it’s perfect for EVERYTHING. Their espresso drinks are lovely, the cocktails and wine are superb…and the food!!! All of the food is simply amazing. I’m going to miss this place.

My friend Sierra Tishgart, NY Editor of New York Magazine’s Grub Street, also loves Buvette so she joined me to show you all why Buvette is such a special place. Big thanks to the owner Jody Williams for letting us shoot video in her restaurant and stick a camera in the face of her fantastic servers πŸ™‚

I’ll miss you NYC, and I’ll miss you Buvette!!

Le District – French Cuisine in Brookfield Place with outdoor seating, guide

French Cuisine – Le District in Brookfield Place, Battery Park, brasserie, beautiful outdoor setting on the waterfront, at the yacht harbor. Financial district restaurant. Shot on Microsoft Lumia 640, that recorded on 1920×1080/30fps.

If you are looking for a beautiful place at the waterfront to dine, this is the place. In this tour you can see the atmosphere inside, what to expect. It is both a dining place and a grocery pick up place too. And you can enjoy French wine, appetizers, or just simply hang out with friends and colleagues. Perhaps its biggest value is the outdoor seating, that I could not record this time simply because of the darkness outside at the time of the recording; it was already about 8pm.

The gears I use:
Microsoft Lumia 640 phone with Windows 10:
SanDisk 128 GB Ultra :
CyberLink, Director Suite 4:

Let me note, that the Lumia phone does a great job in shooting, as you can see it on the video. One day I do wish to have a professional camera and some extra gears too for such a hobby and joy. Enjoy it!

For editing I am using the Director Suite 4 from CyberLink, which is quite good. It comes in a bundle (because it’s a SUITE, and good value for money) with many software like the most important
1. Power Director 14, the ultimate video editing software and also with the Action Camera Center
2. and the Photo Director 7, for all types of photo editing, layers, blur effects, human body editing, object removal …
3. and Audio editing, mixing, and Wave editing … is in the Audio Director 6
4. and Color Grading tools is the Color Director 4
5. Screen recording tool is in the bundle itself.
It is really-really a complete set. I do not use most of its features, at least not yet. I still consider myself to be a beginner. But despite of the great many features it offers, it is unbelievably easy to use. A beginner like me, can manage it very well. And it comes as I said with a lot of built in themes, effects and tools to enhance your video. I only can recommend it honestly.
