New York Dining – El Quijote Spanish Restaurant created By; Yolland Bitton

El Quijote Restaurant
Located next to the Chelsea Hotel, El Quijote offers exquisite Cuisine from the best of Spain since 1930. Located in the Chelsea district of New York, it offers the most authentic Spanish cuisine you’ll find in New York city, at very reasonable prices.

Traditional menu favorites include mejillones, paella, chulleta and gambas. Add to the mix the restaurant’s authentic Spanish decor, Cervantes mural and well-dressed waitstaff, and it’s easy to see why this is one of Chelsea’s most carefully guarded secrets.

El Quijote appears untouched by time. While seafood remains the most popular choice on the massive menu, they know their steak here, too. Try the tapa of filet mignon tips, sizzling in a frying pan, or the special appetizer combo for two. Lobster in green sauce, like everything else, is gigante. (Be sure to spoon the extra-garlicky salsa over everything in sight.) Paella, available four different ways, is also a good choice for the table. If, by some miracle, you’re able to squeeze anything else into your stomach at meal’s end, the flan is fantastic.

Entire families enjoy themselves here, and the portions are overwhelming. Make sure you try the sangria.

Romantic Glamour Restaurant Interior Design By Cuoco Black-Miami-Paris-New York City

Actor Dennis Hopper, the electrifying Moby, and the newest face of Victoria’s Secret,Brazillian model Izabel Goulart, all dining at separate tables at Gin Lane…. Roger Friedman, Foxnews.com

The Gin Lane restaurant in Manhattan’s Meat Packing District had a short lived yet passionate love affair with the public. The design of the restaurant was a counterpoint to the boutique/modern aesthetic which dominated the neighborhood, and in that regard, embraced by many for it’s traditional, sexy and romantic ambiance. Handmade flocked French wallpaper, washed in 24 carat gold, served as a backdrop to famed photographer Albert Watson’s oversized “Golden Boy.” A loyal following of sports, music, fashion and Hollywood celebrities gave fodor to fantasy and the paparrazi did well in capturing it.

Cuoco Black is a recipient of the BFA with Distinction and Professional Design Diploma from the New York School of Interior Design where he once served as a faculty member of the prestigious school…listed as one of the top schools of interior design in the world. Black’s skills bridge the academic-philosophical to the practical-beautiful. His work in Paris France for the Experimental Cocktail Club garnered his clients a “Best Bars in the World” designation by Bartenders Magazine and his design for the-gone-but-not-forgotten Gin Lane Restaurant in Manhattan’s Meat Packing District inspired an allegiance of celebrities from the world’s of film, sports and fashion He and his work has been featured in the New York Times, The Financial Times, Bravo TV, ELLE France, Bloomberg.com, Foxnews.com, Conde Nast Traveler, Food&Wine.com, Wealth, Black Book Magazine and The Worlds Best Bars.com. He specializes in Interior Design Branding of Fitness Centers, Restaurants, Lounges and Residences. Cuoco Black is a boutique sized design firm limiting commissions which enables the company to provide the highest caliber of design, communication and attention to project details. A review of their diverse portfolio will illustrate the “Nuances Of Branding” and the importance of interior design as a point of differentiation to your competition…and as a complement to your marketing platform. appetizers Jean Georges, New York – 3 michelin star restaurant Boston Footage 4.1

appetizers

fine dinning. 3 michelin star resturant in Manhattan – Jean Georges, located in the central part area, in side the trump international hotel and towers, right next to the time warner building. Beautiful food.

Had a beautiful lunch there, it was my second time. Was there a few years ago for restaurant week, and it didn’t disappoint. Luxury decor makes you feel like a millionaire! I had the veal and main shrimp, my buddy had the skate and waygu beef. The Skate was very well prepared, it is very difficult to prepare properly. Ingredients are top notch, the little extra candies are great compliment of a great meal.

Jean Georges is a 3 Michelin stars restaurant at 1 Central Park West on the Lobby Level of the Trump International Hotel and Tower, Manhattan, named after its owner Jean-Georges Vongerichten. According to Michelin star rating, it is one of the top 5 best French restaurant in the Americas (US, Canada, and Latin America). It also remains one of the few restaurants in the city awarded four stars by The New York Times.[1] The current executive chef is Mark LaPico. The restaurant has a 70-seat capacity in its Jean Georges dining room. There is also a separate sister restaurant located next door, Nougatine Café bar-lounge, which has a casual dining room. In good weather there is also seating on the Mistral Terrace. The restaurant was designed by architect and restaurateur Adam Tihany.[2]

The Michelin Guide (French: Guide Michelin [ɡid miʃ.lɛ̃]) is a series of annual guide books published by Michelin for over a dozen countries. The term normally refers to the Michelin Red Guide, the oldest and best-known European hotel and restaurant guide, which awards the Michelin stars. Michelin also publishes Green Guides for travel and tourism, as well as several newer publications such as the Guide Voyageur Pratique (independent travel), Guide Gourmand (good-value eating-places), Guide Escapade (quick breaks) and Guide Coup de Cœur (favourite hotels).

First published in 1900 for France, Michelin introduced additional guides thereafter for other European countries. In 2005, it published the first guide for the United States focusing on New York City; followed by its first Asian guide in 2007 for Tokyo. In 2012, the Michelin Guide collection had 27 guide books covering 23 countries on three continents, with over 45,000 worldwide addresses.[1]

Red Guides have historically listed many more restaurants than rivals, relying on an extensive system of symbols to describe each establishment in as little as two lines. Reviews of starred restaurants also include two to three culinary specialities. Recently, however, short summaries (2–3 lines) have been added to enhance descriptions of many establishments. These summaries are written in the language of the country for which the guide is published, but the symbols are the same throughout all editions.

Red Guides are also published for selected major cities: Paris, London, Tokyo, Kyoto/Osaka, Hokkaido, Hong Kong & Macau, New York City, the San Francisco Bay Area & Wine Country, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Las Vegas. There is also a Red Guide encompassing the “Main Cities of Europe.”[2][3][4][5]

In 2008, German restaurateur Juliane Caspar was appointed Editor-in-Chief of the French edition of the Red Guide.[6] She is the first woman and first non-French national to edit the French edition.[7]
